DAILY QC
Prior to running the Rapid fFN 10Q QCette
®
for the fi rst time, QCette SETUP
must be performed. See page 4-29. Refer to the Rapid fFN 10Q QCette
directional insert for more information.
Daily QC should be performed at least once every 24 hours. Note that Main
Menu item 3-DAILY QC will blink if 24 hours have passed since the last
performance of this check.
Option 3 on the Main Menu screen allows the user to run the QCette.
The USER ID must be entered to proceed to the next step. Press ENTER to
accept the ID. This fi eld will accept 15 alpha or numeric characters.
The QCette SN (serial number) is displayed. (It was originally entered during
QCette setup.) Confi rm that the SN displayed matches the SN printed on
the QCette plastic housing and press ENTER. The software requires that
the serial number is entered in the correct format: six numeric characters
(e.g., 006460). Enter all leading zeros.
