Except where differently specified,
the personnel
that performs the installation interventions, con-
nection, maintenance, reassembly and reuse,
damages or breakdowns, demolition and disman-
tling
must be a
skilled personnel
trained in safety
matter and educated on the residual risks, with the
competencies, in safety matter, of the maintenance
employees.
ENVIRONMENTS, WORKING AND PASSING PLACES
The work environment must answer to the directive
89/654/CEE. In the working area foreign objects
must not be present.
The employer
, in the directive
89/391/CEE respect, concerning the measures real-
ization turned to promote the safety and workers
health improvement during the work, must provide
to eliminate or reduce the showed residual risks as
foreseen in the present manual.

equipment, maintenance

cleaning

during all further manual
operations

other body parts in the machine dangerous areas,
a residual risk remains due above all to:

knocks with machine manufacturing parts,
•
grazing and/or abrasion with machine rough parts,
•
sharp pain with the sharpened parts,
•
cut with tools sharpened parts.
Besides in the
loading
phase,
with the lifted pres-
sure
that happens also introducing the hands within
the machine dangerous parts, remains a residual risk
due above all to a
cut with tools sharpened parts
.
Besides in the phase of
cleaning or pieces unblock

The operator and the maintenance man
must be
trained for the intervention connected to the man-
ual operations with open repairs

on the connected consequent risks, must be author-
ized from a responsible person and must use ade-
quate individual protection devices,

keeping them with the blades directed to-
wards the bottom
.
PROTECTION DEVICES ON THE MACHINE
The machine safety devices and protections must
not be removed.
If they must be removed for extraordinary mainte-
nance requirements
will have to be immediately
taken some measures ready to put in evidence and
to reduce at the possible minimum limit the danger
that can derive from it
.
The protection or the safety device replacing must
happen as soon as the reasons, that are necessary
to their temporary removal, are finished.
All machine safety and protection devices, both
electrical both mechanical, must be maintained in
perfect and constant efficiency conditions.
