Waking Up a Gridstore Storage Node that Is Offline

You can wake up a Gridstore Storage Node that is offline. When the Gridstore Storage Node is

offline, it is powered off, but still connected to the network and thereby able to respond to a "Wake

On LAN" command.

In the left navigation tree of GridControl, do one of the following:

•

Click on

Storage Nodes.

The Storage Nodes window opens to the right.

•

Click the plus sign next to

vPools to expand it, and then click the vPool that contains

the Gridstore Storage Node you would like to wake up.
The vPools window for the selected vPool opens.

In the window at the right, right-click on the Gridstore Storage Node in the table that has a

status of Offline, select Wake Up from the short-cut menu.
The Gridstore Storage Node is powered on and displays with the Online status.
