GRIDSTORE ADMINISTRATOR’S GUIDE 93

Turning Beacon On or Off for a Gridstore Storage Node

You can test the communication to a Gridstore Storage Node by blinking an LED light that is located

on the front of the Gridstore Storage Node. This feature can also be used to locate a particular

Gridstore Storage Node that is installed in a rack with multiple Gridstore Storage Nodes.

Note:

You can do this from the

Storage Nodes area or from within the vPool that includes the

Gridstore Storage Node you are attempting to identify.

In the left navigation tree of GridControl, do one of the following:

•

Click on

Storage Nodes.

The Storage Nodes window opens to the right.

•

Click the plus sign next to

vPools to expand it, and then click the vPool that contains

the appropriate Gridstore Storage Node.
The vPools window for the selected vPool opens.
