Mapping Active Directory Objects to a vStore
Active Directory Objects include Users, Groups, Organizational Units and Computers. When an Active
Directory Object is mapped to a vStore, any user who is a member of that Active Directory Object has
access to the vStore at the time he or she logs on. For Computer object mappings only, the vStore is
mapped when the computer first boots up and is accessible to all users who log on to that computer.
Note:
With Active Directory Object mappings, if the
(see pg. 60) for a user has been set
to have
vController
installed, then you do not need to have it already installed on Client computers
ahead of time, as a silent install occurs automatically when the user logs on.
