Click the OK button.
The vStore window displays with the new properties.
Moving a vStore to Another vPool
You can move a vStore to another vPool. When you move the vStore, the Gridstore Storage Nodes
assigned to that vStore also move to the other vPool.
Note:
You cannot move a vStore if it contains one or more Gridstore Storage Nodes that are
participating in another vStore. The option will not be available.

In the left navigation tree of GridControl, navigate to the appropriate vStore. To do so:
•
Click the plus sign next to
vPools to expand it.
•
Click the plus sign next to the vPool that contains the appropriate vStore, to expand that
vPool.
•
Click the plus sign next to
vStores to expand it.

Right-click on the appropriate vStore, select Move To from the short-cut menu, and then
select the appropriate vPool.
The vStore now appears under the destination vPool in the left navigation tree.
Expanding or Shrinking a vStore
You can add more Gridstore Storage Nodes from the vPool to the vStore to expand it. You can also
remove Gridstore Storage Nodes from the vStore to shrink it.
Note:
When removing Gridstore Storage Nodes from a vStore, keep in mind that a vStore must have
a minimum of three Gridstore Storage Nodes.

Click the plus sign next to the vPool that contains the appropriate vStore, to expand that
vPool.

Click the plus sign next to
vStores to expand it.
