Click the plus sign next to
vPools to expand it, and then click the vPool that contains
the appropriate Gridstore Storage Node.
The vPools window for the selected vPool opens.

In the window to the right, right-click on the appropriate Gridstore Storage Node in the table,
select Manage Node from the short-cut menu, and then Restart.
A message box opens, confirming the action.

Click the OK button.
The Gridstore Storage Node shuts down and then restarts. The status changes from
Online to Stopped and back to Online again.
Shutting Down a Gridstore Storage Node
Shutting down a Gridstore Storage Node turns its power off and changes its status in GridControl to
Offline. You may shut down a Gridstore Storage Node if you want to move it physically, or if it is
faulty and you would like to remove it. Note that removing a Gridstore Storage Node that is part of a
vStore will affect the redundancy level of that vStore.
Note:
If the Gridstore Storage Node belongs to one or more vStores, we recommend
(see pg. 29) first.
