Information for each Client listed in the table includes the following.
Tip:
You can click on a heading in the table to sort the Clients by that heading item.
Field/Item
Description
Hostname
The name of the Client.
IP Address
The IP address for the Client.
Core Service
The status of the Client. Main options include:
Running - the Client is healthy and running.
Stopped - the Client has been manually stopped using
GridControl.
Offline - the Client is not accessible from the network.
Fault - the Client is in a compromised state that requires
immediate attention.
Start Queue - the Client is being added to the Grid.
Type
The type of node, which is a Client Node.
Version
The version of vController currently installed on the Client.
Checking Client Membership Status in the Grid
For any Client, you can check which vStores it is mapped to and the type of mappings they are. You
identify the Client by its IP address.

In the left navigation tree of GridControl, click on vController Manager.
The vController Manager window opens to the right.

Click the Client Memberships tab.
The Client Membership tab opens.
