Note that DNS SRV records can also be manually entered into the DNS using the following

properties.

Service: _gridstore

Protocol: _tcp

•

Priority: 0

•

Weight: 100

•

Port number: 11000

•

Host offering service: [hostname].[domain-name]

In the left navigation tree of GridControl, click on DNS.

The DNS window opens to the right. Each Gridstore Storage Node that does not have an SRV

record registered within the DNS displays with a Fix link.

Click the Fix link for each Gridstore Storage Node to manually register its SRV record in the

DNS.
A message box opens, confirming that DNS entries updated successfully.

Click the OK button.

The Fix link no longer displays.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for other Gridstore Storage Nodes, as needed.
