Running Cutting Tests
Test cuttng can be performed after makng the tool, speed, force, acceleraton, and perforaton pattern settngs to
ensure that the selected cuttng condtons actually produce the desred cuttng results. Check how far the blade
cuts nto the meda and how the corners are beng cut. If the cuttng results are not satsfactory, adjust the varous
settngs and repeat the test cuttng untl the optmal settngs are acheved.
Cutting Test
Here, you can ether cut one test pattern based on the current values.

Load the meda for test cuttng n the plotter.

Press the [COND/TEST] key n the default screen.
In Normal mode, CONDITION screen (1/3) s dsplayed.
Supplement
It wll return to CONDITION screen by pressng
the [4] key (CANCEL).

Press the POSITION ( ) key (CUT TEST).
Supplement
Pushng the [POSITION] and [FAST] keys
smultaneously wll move the tool carrage
faster.

Press the POSITION (
) key the tool carrage to the
locaton you wsh to perform the test cuttng.
CAUTION
When the [ENTER] key s pressed, the tool
carrage wll start movng, so take care not to
cut your fingers.

Press the [ENTER] key.
