Daily Maintenance
Durng the course of daly plotter operaton, be sure to observe the followng precautons:
(1) Never lubrcate the mechansms of the plotter.
(2) Clean the plotter's casng usng a dry cloth that has been mostened n a neutral detergent dluted wth water.
Never use thinner, benzene, alcohol, or similar solvents to clean the casings; they will damage the casing's
finish.
(3) Clean the cuttng mat usng a dry cloth. In case of stubborn stans, use a cloth that has been mostened n
alcohol or n a neutral detergent dluted wth water.
(4) Clean the plotter's paper sensors usng a cloth mostened n a neutral detergent dluted wth water.
* Never use thinner, benzene, alcohol, or similar solvents to clean the sensors; cleaners such as these will
damage the sensors.
(5) When the Y ral sldng surface gets drty, gently wpe the drt away wth a clean, dry towel.
* The sldng surface has lubrcant on t, so be sure not to wpe all the lubrcant off as well.
Storing the Plotter
When your plotter s not n use, be sure to observe the followng ponts:
(1) Remove the tool attached to the tool holder.
(2) Cover the plotter wth a cloth to protect t from dust and drt.
(3) Do not store the plotter n drect sunlght or n hgh temperatures.
(4) Please lower the set lever so the push roller s n a rsen state.
