Import Data using USB Flash Drive
To import data from an external USB flash drive:
1.
Press
Folders
& USB Export
on the main menu.
2.
Press
USB Flash Drive
on the
Folder Management
screen —
The USB Flash Drive screen opens.
3.
Press
Select Window
to toggle between the available options:
•
Instrument Folders
screen
•
USB flash drive's
Exported to Ascent
folder
•
USB flash drive's
Import from Ascent
folder
4.
Select
USB (Import from Ascent)
.
5.
Use the
and
arrow keys to select an XML file to import —
The instrument will list the XML files contained in the
Ascent to
SCOUT / vbX
folder on the USB flash drive, and the root of the USB
flash drive.
6.
Press
Import Folder
to import the selected file.
7.
Return to the main menu — The instrument automatically opens the
imported folder. This is listed beside the
Folders
menu option.
Remote Comms functionality
Once you have completed the initial setup requirements for the Remote
Comms system, you can exchange data between Ascent and a remote
instrument using the Remote Comms server.
