Applications
Materials needed
• Two rolls of thermal laminate
( Both rolls should be of equal widths )
• Prints
( smaller than the laminate )
• Roll of masking tape
• Utility knife
• Cutting blade with an enclosed casing.
• Piece of cardboard ( film width x 6” )
Set up
a) Turn MAIN POWER to “ON”. Refer to
Figure 6.9.1
b) Press RESET. Refer to Figure 6.9.1

c) Ensure that the rear pull rollers are in the up
position..
d) Raise the front and rear safety shields.
Caution should always be exercised
when using the laminator with
the safety shields raised.

e) Lift the clevis pin located in the saddle of the
upper unwind shaft.

f) Swing the upper unwind shaft out enough to
slide the roll of laminate over the core chucks
on the upper unwind shaft. Refer to Figure
6.9.2
INFORMATION
Twisting the roll of laminate while sliding
makes loading the film onto the unwind
shaft easier.
