m) Stop the laminator when the trailer board is in
the main roller nip. Refer to Figure 6.6.5

Do not stop in the middle of a board, an
impression of the roller footprint will be
evident on the board. This can cause a
tunnel effect in the mounting process.

n) Raise the main rollers to a 1 in. gap by pressing

Finishing
a) Cut the web of Hot Tissue at the upper unwind
shaft with an enclosed blade.
CAUTION
Do not use an open blade to cut
the web near the rollers.
You can put cuts into the rollers!
b) Pull the precoated board and trailer board out
from the front of laminator.
This will prevent any activated adhesive
from contacting the rollers.
INFORMATION
c) Remove the roll of material from the upper
unwind shaft.
d) Clean the rollers as described in the
maintenance section. ( Section 8.2 Cleaning
the rollers )
