Warnings, Cautions & Notes
CaUTIoN:
Never disconnect power to the system when loading a database. Power
interruption during the database loading process could result in maintenance being
required to reboot the system.
CaUTIoN:
Avoid areas on the display that appear “shadowed” (gray). The accuracy
of the intensity of returns in the shaded areas should be treated as suspect. Exercise
extreme caution, making maneuvering decisions with this information in mind.
CaUTIoN:
In Standby mode, the radar antenna is parked at the center line. It is always
a good idea to put the radar in Standby mode before taxiing the aircraft to prevent
the antenna from bouncing on the bottom stop and possibly causing damage to the
radar assembly.

Therefore, as with all NAVAIDs, information presented by the system can be misused
or misinterpreted and, therefore, become unsafe.
