11 On the test box, press the PTT
switch to TX.
12 Peak marker. In the Markers Menu, select
Marker To. For the marker,
select Peak. The marker should be on top of
the 2
nd
harmonic carrier.
13 Record level. Harmonic frequency will be
down
≥ 65 dB.
14 On the test box, press the PTT
switch to RX.
15 Test all harmonics
up to limit of
equipment. Repeat steps (9 to 15) for 382.5
MHz, 510 MHz, 637.5 MHz, 765
MHz, and 892 MHz. All harmonic power is ≥ 65 dB.
16 For harmonic testing frequencies
1020 MHz, 1147.5 MHz and
1275 MHz, these must be
accomplished utilizing an HP
8560A or equivalent spectrum
analyzer. See appendix A for
test.
17 Remove the high-pass filter.
