16
Place the lines in the collect/replace and plasma valves (see Figure
4-6).

17
TPE and RBCX procedures:
Lay the replacement fluid spike
assemblies over the top of the system.
18
Place the return pressure sensor in its housing. Push downward and
turn clockwise to lock in place.
19
TPE, Platelet Depletion, AutoPBSC, ELP, LRS, and LRST
procedures:
Install the collect concentration monitor (CCM)
cuvette as follows:
a
Pull the housing out and turn it counterclockwise to lock it
into the load (open) position.
b
While holding the tubing above and below the cuvette, slide
the cuvette into position in the CCM (see Figure 4-7). Ensure a
flat side of the cuvette is parallel to the front panel.
Figure 4-7:
Sliding cuvette into CCM
c
Turn the housing clockwise and gently lower it over the cuvette
to lock it into position.
Tip:
Use a flossing action when possible to press tubing
into valves, sensors, and fittings. Ensure the lines are
inserted as far back into the fitting as possible.
Note:
DO NOT touch the cuvette. Fingerprints can cause
inaccurate CCM readings and inconsistent spillover
detection.
Note: AutoPBSC procedures
The cuvette slides freely
on the collect line.
