(B) When possible, install the 9-Tube Assembly
on the side of the freezer with the INTAKE
vents, with the rest of the Blending
Assembly on the opposite side. Typically,
the intake vents are on the right side on
Taylor 430 models, and left side for Taylor
428 and C708-SHAKE models. If the 9-
Tube Assembly is installed on the side of
the outtake vents, the warm air could heat
the syrup and melt the base product upon
serving. Installing the 9-Tube Assembly on
the intake vent side keeps the product cool
and consistent.
(C) When installing on a single multi-barrel
freezer, the Blending Assembly should be
installed with the Drive Motor and 9-Tube
Assembly to the outside. Turn the Blending
Head away from the center of the freezer.
Install the 9-Tube Assembly on the same
size as the Blending Assembly so that it is
not in the way of the second barrel.
The Blending Assembly comes with two very
different suspension brackets. The MIS 3143
universal / standard bracket is designed for
more beverage freezers. Install the system with
this bracket by following instructions in the next
section.
However, when installing the system on a
Taylor C708-SHAKE freezer, use the larger
MIS 3174 bracket. Skip the next section and
go to section “Installing the Blending System on
a C708-SHAKE Freezer” for installation
instructions.
Installing the Blending Assembly on a
Standard Beverage Freezer
1. Determine how the Blending Assembly will
be positioned on the freezer. When
possible, follow the recommended position
outlined above.
2. Arrange the suspension bracket assembly
so that it is placed on the outer side of the
Blending Assembly, with the open end of
the bracket hook facing toward the center of
the freezer. Ensure all parts are assembled
in the proper order.
NOTE:
THE UPPER BRACKET SHOULD
ALWAYS BE INSTALLED TO THE OUTSIDE
OF THE BRACKET BASE, WITH THE SPRING
WASHER BETWEEN THE BRACKET PIECES
AND THE NYLON WASHER BETWEEN THE
UPPER BRACKET AND THE THUMB SCREW.
NOTE:
INSTALL THE THUMB SCREW FROM
THE OUTSIDE OF THE BRACKET
ASSEMBLY SO THAT ADJUSTMENTS CAN
BE MADE EASILY IF NEEDED.
NOTE:
THE HOOK OF THE UPPER
BRACKET SHOULD FACE TOWARDS THE
CENTER OF THE FREEZER.
NOTE:
THE DESIGN OF THE BRACKET MAY
VARY, HOWEVER ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS STILL APPLY.
