Note

: In order for all SMS messages to be transferred to the Bluetooth® 

application of your navigation device, you require sufficient storage space. 
Depending on the product, the data is stored in the internal Flash memory or on the SD card. 
If you do not have sufficient storage space, the navigation device will display a corresponding 
notification message. 

You can use the Falk Navi-Manager to delete 
files that you no longer require from the 
navigation device. For more information, please 
consult the Falk Navi-Manager manual.

You can use the arrow keys to scroll though the 
particular list until you find the SMS you want.  To 
read an SMS, select it by tapping it.  

The SMS text is displayed in another screen.  
You can select the 

green

 telephone receiver to 

call the person who sent or received the SMS. 

When you receive a new SMS, the screen 
displays a notification message. You can decide 
to read the SMS immediately or later. Confirm 
with Ok or Cancel. 

Note

: The notification message is only displayed if you have selected "Automatic notification 

of incoming SMS" in the 

application settings

. 

After you have read an SMS, you can call the person who sent or received the SMS by 
tapping on the 

green

 telephone receiver.  

If you are not presently able to concentrate on the screen of the navigation device, you also 
have the option of having an SMS read out by the navigation device. To do this, please tap 

on the 

 button. 

Note

: This function is only available if your navigation device has the Text To Speech 

function. 

If you wish to cancel the reading, you can stop it at any time by tapping on the button again. 

You can use the arrow buttons to jump back and forth between the SMS. To exit this screen, 
please select the bent arrow. 

2.7.4 File manager 

You can use the file manager to transfer files 
stored on your mobile phone – such as image, 
audio and video files – to your navigation device. 

You can access the transferred files with the 
picture viewer (optional), an MP3 player 
(optional) or the video player (optional). 

Note

: Please be aware that the file manager 

function is only available if it is supported by the 
Bluetooth® function of your mobile phone and the 
devices are connected to one another.
