Destination entry menu order
Determine your own personal menu order in order to be able to access the
Destination entry options which are important to you quickly and with ease.
Tap on Destination entry> Menu order.
All of the destination entry options are available
to you on a list. With the
arrow keys on the left
you can scroll through the list.
Select the function whose position you would like
to change by tapping on it. With the
angular
arrows on the right you can move the previously
selected function to another point on the list.
Confirm your entry by tapping on "Apply".
Confirm the change by tapping on Apply .
2.3.1 Destination entry by entering an address
Tap on the destination selection screen on Address .
Choose country
The currently selected country appears in the
top-right corner of the screen and is identified by
the corresponding
national flag and the
respective international licence-plate code for the
country (3.5” screen) or the country name (4.3”
screen). Tap the button in order to select a
different country.
The Choose country screen is displayed. All of the installed national maps with a detailed
road network are listed in alphabetical order. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the list of
countries.
Note : You can only enter a destination if a map for the destination country is installed on
your navigation device.
Attention : Depending on the type of product, not all of the detailed maps which are supplied
are preinstalled on the navigation device.
All of the country maps which are supplied for your navigation system can be found on the
enclosed Falk Navi-Manager DVD. You can transfer these country maps to your
navigation device using the Falk Navi-Manager PC program. Read Chapter 5 for more
information about this.
You can obtain up-to-date country maps e.g. as a Falk map subscription on the Internet via
the Falk Online Shop at http://shop.gofalk.com/falk/ .
Note : For cross-national route calculations, you must have the country maps for the
destination country as well as the countries which you must travel through along your route.
If you do not have all of the country maps for the countries in between, the European network
of main trunk roads must be installed in order that you can reach your destination country.
World regions
If you would like to head for a destination located in a country outside Europe, you should tap
the
World regions button.
Note : The World regions button is only shown to you if an appropriate country map has been
installed.
