Attention:

If you have not calculated a route and you block a section on a route,

this section will be permanently blocked for the purpose of route calculation. The
blocking can be lifted again via the

Rerouting manager

If you wish to block segments of road outside of the map shown on the map view, you should
use your finger to move the map in the direction you want, or tap on

Search.

Enter an

address

in order to get to the relevant map section for the blocking you wish to put

in place.

By entering a distance starting from your current position

Tap on

Avoid route in advance

You can use the

Avoid route in advance

option to avoid a part of the planned route which is

directly ahead of you and an alternative route will be calculated.

You can stipulate the length of the part of your original route that you wish to block. For
example, if you select 10 km, the next 10 km of your current route will be blocked. However,
you can also select other kilometre numbers, e.g. 5 km + 10 km + 15 km. The distances
selected are added together and the total distance is blocked on your route (e.g. 30 km).

The actual length of the section selected depends on your system settings and on whether
you have made entries in kilometres or miles (cf. Chapter 2.5.21).

Confirm with

Ok

. The route is recalculated.

You can cancel the blocking of a section on a route in the

Rerouting manager

Avoid traffic jam reports (TMC)

If you tap on…, reports of current traffic jams are displayed. The traffic jams reported on the
calculated route can be taken into account and thus avoided.

The blocked routes are displayed in the Rerouting manager and they can be lifted again
here.

Rerouting manager

The Rerouting manager allows you to manage all the blockages you have set up. All
blockages are displayed in the list.

If you tap on

Display

, you can display a blockage

previously selected in the list on the map view.

The

+ symbol

allows you to add a blockage.

The

disk symbol

allows you to set up a

permanent blockage.

With the

 X symbol

 you can delete a blockage

which was previously selected in the list.
