Deactivating voice control 

Voice control is automatically deactivated if you do not issue any voice commands for 
several seconds. 

You can also deactivate voice control by tapping the button. 

  

If you issue a voice command to launch navigation to a destination, voice control mode is 
automatically deactivated. 

Voice control is also deactivated if you tap a function on the screen. 

When you exit the application, the system sounds a confirmation signal confirming that voice 
control has been deactivated. 

Navigating a list 

The voice control system frequently provides you with choices in the form of a list. You can 
navigate a list of alternatives using the following commands. 

The commands “

down

” and “

up

” are used to scroll through lists. These commands allow you 

to scroll from entry to entry. 

The commands “

scroll

” and “

scroll back

” allow you to navigate through all list entries page 

by page. 

All entries in the list are numbered. An entry can be selected from the list by saying the 
number of the desired entry. 

2.6.2  Using voice control to enter a destination 

Note: 

Destination entry comprises several screens. All types of destination entry that are 

found on the first screen can be called up using a voice command. 

To get to the following screens, use the voice 
commands “

Next

” or “

Scroll

”.

 

 

Note:

 You can use the command 

Help

 to display 

all available commands on the navigation screen. 

Entering an address:

 After the signal sounds, 

say the command Address if you wish to enter an 
address. 

Follow the voice control instructions. 

Note:

 When entering the address, you 

cannot change the country

 using voice commands. 

If you would like to change the destination country, tap the button with the national flag. 
Voice control is deactivated. Once you have selected the desired country, you can reactivate 
voice control again. 

In order to navigate to the centre of the town/city, 
say the command 

City centre

 when you are 

prompted to select an entry from the list.  

If during destination entry the city or street you 
want is not offered in the selection list, you can 
repeat your entry after uttering the command 

Repeat

 (instead of entering a row number).
