Note
: In Germany and in the majority of other countries, it is a criminal offence to
deliberately or knowingly make hoax calls to the emergency services (see section
145 of the German Criminal Code (StGB)). Any persons who make such hoax calls are also
liable to compensate the relevant organisations.
2.4.13 Trip computer – Configure route information
The trip computer provides you with extensive
travel information
about your current
route and your position. You have the option of adapting the information which is available to
your own personal preferences.
The order and nature of the information depends on your preset
profile
(cf. Chapter 2.4.12)
Car, Motorbike, Bicycle or Pedestrian.
Tap on the button
Trip computer
. In the bottom part of the screen you are shown the
Address
or if applicable the
geo-coordinates
of your current position.
Requirement
: GPS signal being received.
If no GPS signal is available, you are shown the last position where you had GPS reception.
You have the option of selecting

of the items of travel information which are most important
to you. Tap on an appropriate button. Behind each button you have access to a list
containing travel information. Depending on your chosen profile, you have a choice between:

Tap on

to switch to the navigation screen.

exit
the
trip computer
tap on the menu.
Tap on
Statistics
to show a breakdown of your travel data for the route you have covered.
