1 Introduction 

Congratulations on your purchase of a mobile Falk navigation device with the new Falk 
Navigator. 

With the Falk Navigator, you have purchased a product that was developed and tested with 
the utmost care. It meets the highest functionality and operating requirements.  

Nevertheless, should you have any suggestions or comments that would allow us to make 
our products even better, we would be glad to hear from you.  

The Falk Navigator manual will teach you all about the extensive functions of your navigation 
device. Furthermore, problems which are caused by possible operating errors can be 
avoided by reading this manual. 

We wish you lots of enjoyment, a good trip, and safe arrival with your mobile Falk navigation 
device. 

1.1  About this manual 

The functions of your Falk Navigator navigation software are described in detail in the 
following chapters of this manual. Some chapters are dedicated to functions or optional 
accessories that only apply to specific products in the Falk family. Chapters that describe 
optional functions or accessories are identified as “

optional

” in the manual. 

The product description on the original packaging of your product will tell you whether you 
can use these functions with your product. The packaging also indicates which accessories 
are included in the scope of delivery of your product. 

The following notation is used in this manual to improve legibility and comprehensibility:

  Important text sections or terms that are used in the Navigator program interface in 

the form of labels for the icons used. 

Note:

  Notes are used repeatedly in order to identify important or essential information.

 The screens used in this document show all of the options available in the Falk 

Navigator. In the case of products which do not feature all of the functions, these functions 
are not displayed on the navigation screen or in the blue bar at the top of the menu. For this 
reason, the screens used in the document may differ from those in your navigation system. 

In principle, the screens shown in this manual may differ from the screens on your navigation 
systems.
