5.5.1  Use “Favourite lists” from the Community 

By clicking on the tab “My Favourites” on the main window of the Navi-Manager, you will be 
shown an overview list of your “own” available POI collections. 

These may firstly be POI collections which were generated with the KML Import Plugin (cf. 
5.4). 

Secondly, your own “favourite lists” can be found here. They exist at “places.falk.de” (to 
create a new favourite list at “places.falk.de“, click on the menu there on “My favourite lists” 
and then on the tab “Create”). The favourite lists from the Community are only shown if you 
are currently logged into the Community via the Navi-Manager. 

The abovementioned “own” POI collections from a KML import or from “places.falk.de” can 
be transferred to the navigation device in the usual way. Content in the Online Community is 
shown with a globe symbol. 

5.5.2 Upload new “Favourites” 

Favourites created on the navigation device can be transferred from the navigation device to 
the private area of the Falk Online Community. “Private” in this instance means that the 
transferred favourites are not on display to other Community members. To start the transfer 
process, you need to access the menu under “

Edit

” and click on “

Transfer new favourites 

to the Falk Community

”. These “

favourites

” can then be processed further in the Online 

Community, i.e. descriptive texts, photos, etc. can be added. In addition, the “

favourites

” can 

also be made accessible to the other Community members there. You may of course include 
the “favourites” which have had extra information added to them in a “favourite list” and then 
transfer this list to the navigation device again.  

If the automatic update function is set appropriately, the upload of the “favourites” will be 
performed automatically each time the Navi-Manager is started. 

5.5.3  Upload new and amended ratings 

You can give a rating of 1 to 5 stars on the navigation device in the detailed view for a POI. 
This allows you, for example, to rate a restaurant that you have visited. You can upload 
these ratings to the Falk Online Community, where they will be combined to create an overall 
rating. To do this, you need to access the menu under “

Edit

” and click on “

Transfer new and 

amended ratings to the Falk Community

”. 

If the automatic update function is set appropriately, the upload of the new and amended 
ratings will be performed automatically each time the Navi-Manager is started.
