4.2.2  Upper Case Removal

Pull out the paper feed knob.

Remove the two printer covers. (Refer to arrows 

 through 

Remove the cartridge cover.

Remove the platen paper guide by turning it toward you.

Remove the three screws 

 X 12) securing the upper and lower cases.

Lift the front edge of the upper case and move it backward.

Disconnect connector CN21 on the 

 board, and remove the upper case.
