2.3.5.4 Relationship Between the First
Drive Pulse Width and +35 V Line Voltage
As described in Section 2.3.5.3, this printer has three kinds of pulse widths for the first drive pulse
depending on the paper thickness. Figure 2-74 shows the relationship between the first
drive
pulse width and +35 V line voltage.
To keep the energy

coil constant, the first drive pulse width of the
signal (see Figure 2-73) is controlled by the sub CPU internal clock (output from the COO
terminal) depending on the +35 Vline voltage.
