Preparation
Setting of the Network Environment
2. Select "Wireless Setting" from the MCI menu.
Select " Wireless Setting " from the MCI menu.
3. Select the LAN configuration you wish to use.
Using Point left/right buttons on the top panel / remote control of your projector, select a
network configuration (LAN 1,LAN2, or LAN3) you wish to use. Pressing the Point button
toggles"LAN1", "LAN2", "LAN3" and "Off" in order.The message " Wait a moment" appears
when switching LAN configurations. At the factory, LAN 3 (AdHoc) is selected.

Selecting LAN configurations

MCI has three preset network configurations
(LAN1, LAN2 and LAN3) . At the factory, LAN3
is selected. For details of factory default setting,
refer to " 4. Factory Default Setting.
4. Display the network configuration screen.
Press Select button to display the network configuration screen. Contents of the selected
LAN configuration will be displayed. Enter the value in each parameter.
* The above diagram is the preset value of LAN 3

How to enter numeric value and characters on the configuration screen

Pressing Point left/right buttons move field and Point up/down buttons changes values and selects
characters at SSID/ESSID/BSSD field. Characters can be selected among A-Z, a-z and blank(space).
Press Point right button to enter the next character.
a) IP Address......enter the IP address.
b) Sub net.....not required to enter. (Use factory default setting)
c) Gateway......Not required to enter. (Use factory default setting)
d) Connection Status......AdHoc
e) SSID/ESSID/IBSSD......Enter characters ( "WIRELESS" is
entered at the factory)

a: Do not use the same IP address of other wireless LAN
(AdHoc) computer
※
e: Specify the same words of your wired LAN enabled
computer. At the factory, WIRELESS
is entered for
SSID/ESSID/IBSSD. Make sure if the wireless channel of
your computer is 11.
※
b,c: No need to set in AdHoc Mode.
Following instruction is based on LAN3 configuration.
