Parameter value: VT n or more consecutive PVCs have
been detected with a beat-to-beat
rate greater than or equal to the VT
rate set in the Alarm Tables. (

Message: Bradycardia
Parameter value:
BRDY 8 or more consecutive QRS
complexes have been detected
with a beat-to-beat rate less than
80% of the patient’s normal rate. • Observe the patient and treat if
clinically indicated.
Message: RUN
Parameter value: RUN 3 to N-1* consecutive PVCs with a
beat-to-beat rate >= the VT rate • Observe the patient and treat if
clinically indicated.
Message: AIVR
Parameter value:

• Check the patient cable and lead
wires carefully.
• Check the M
ULTIMED
pod.
Replace pod if defective.
• Replace any cable or lead wire
that is suspect.
• Reapply gel on the electrode or
change the electrode (if
disposable).
• Select another ECG lead for
processing if the electrode or lead
cannot be replaced.
