§4.2 - Position of the operator
•
Prior to putting the hydraulic ramp into service, ensure
that nobody stands behind, under, or within the working
radius of the platform. Take precautions to guarantee your
own safety, as well as the safety of any third persons in
traffic.
•
The ramp should only be controlled from the orig-
inal control box, mounted at a fixed location on
the side of the body [see Fig. 4.3], in accordance
with
DHOLLANDIA
fitting instructions for tail lift
control boxes. Because of the hazardous scissor
effect of certain ramp platforms, mobile hand-held
controls are not allowed. [See Fig. 4.4 - 4.5].
