§6.7 - Ending the use
•
In order to stow the platform into it’s travel position, the
actions of §6.2 must be followed in reverse order. This
means:
•
Use the electric controls to raise the hydraulic stabilising
legs into their travel position, and mount the locking pin.
Or (if legs are not available): reset the air suspension of
the vehicle in neutral position. Check and comply with the
instructions of the vehicle manufacturer re. the use of the
air suspension. [See Fig. 615].
•
Close the mechanical platform lock, which procedure de-
pends on the type of lock, and the finish of the vehicle
body. [See Fig. 6.16 for some examples].
•
Switch-off the electric power to the hydraulic ramp. This
can be by means of a battery switch in the control box
[see Fig. 6.17] and / or a dashboard switch in the driver’s
cabin [see Fig. 6.18].
