Hydraulic stabilising legs: used to support and stabilise
the loading floor of the vehicle at the same level during
loading & unloading, thus avoiding damage to the ramp
and the vehicle chassis due to overload.

tains the electric motor driving the hydraulic pump and
the control valves.

The
DH-AR3/4
... series is a range of hydraulic ramps with
a longer, articulated platform, and 4 hydraulic tilt cylinders
instead of 2 (as on the DH-AR1... and DH-AR2...). 2 cylin-
ders are used to OPEN / CLOSE the bottom section of the
platform, 2 are used to OPEN / CLOSE the top section.
So the top & bottom platform sections work independent-
ly.

Platform: carries the load during loading / unloading.
It can be a closed steel tear plate surface, a steel
meshed platform for reduced wind resistance, or with
an inlay of wooden planks or aluminium profiles.
The platform is either full width, or split into 2 separate
sections [like this on Fig. 2.3].

20b Bottom section of the platform.

Ramp frame: mounted in a fixed position at the rear of
the vehicle body. It bears the platform and the hydrau-
lic tilt cylinders.
