Your system contains an RJ45 connector (see Figure B- 7) on the back panel for

attaching an unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Ethernet cable, which is used in 10BASE-T

and 100BASE-TX networks. The network interface controller (NIC) provides all the

functions normally handled by a separate network expansion card. To connect your

system to and configure it for use on an Ethernet network, see Chapter 5, Using the
