4.6 Test Summary

4.6.1 Test Results

At the end of every pump test, vPad-IV shows a summary which is based on analysis of the measurements
observed during the test (

Figure 39

). After reviewing the summary, it may then be saved to a Test Record.

Note a Test Record may include the displayed summary as well as additional summaries from tests
completed with linked channels, or tests that were previously completed as part of an AutoSequence.

If the test was performed in manual mode, vPad-IV will not have sufficient information to evaluate the test
results automatically. Users are asked at the end of the test to manually assign, at their discretion, a PASS or
FAIL result before the summary is shown.

For tests which measure flow and volume, vPad-IV requires the input of infusion device settings used in
the manual test. The pump settings will be included in the Test Record, and may be used to calculate flow
or PCA statistics as described in the following Sections.
