4.8.6.2 Editor actions
Referring to Figure 47 , buttons on the editor screen provide these functions:
Opens the step editor for the selected step
Adds a new step below the selected step
Removes the selected step from the sequence
Save and Exit Saves changes to the AutoSequence file being edited and closes the editor
Save as New
Saves contents of editor to a new AutoSequence file; you will be prompted to enter a
filename
Help
Displays the on-line user manual, AutoSequence Editor chapter
Exit
Closes the editor without saving changes
4.8.6.3 Step types
Referring to
Figure 47
, step " types " shown on the left of the editor screen invoke these operations during
an AutoSequence:

Displays instructions for test setup or other information
check
Intended for visual inspections of the infusion device. Requires user selection of a result
chosen from the options, which is then saved to the Test Record:
• PASS - Result is acceptable
• FAIL - Result is not acceptable
• SERVICE - Repair or other service was performed to obtain an acceptable result
• N/A - Task does not apply to this device
• INFO ONLY - Result is information rather than PASS or FAIL
flow
Runs a Flow Rate Test with settings for rate, VTBI and time as shown by the editor. On
completion of the
flow
step, a summary of the measurement results is saved in the Test
Record.
pigbk
Runs a Piggyback/KVO Test with settings for each infused dose of the test as shown by
the editor. On completion of the
pigbk step, a summary of the results for each dose is
saved in the Test Record.
