vPad-IV OPERATORS MANUAL
Once the printer has been configured, press the
Test Printer
button to check connectivity.
Whether printed as a connectivity test or as an actual PM tag meant for application to an infusion device,
vPad-IV will display a preview of the label before it is printed. Users may optionally cancel the printout or
print multiple copies of the label if desired.
4.8.5 List Editor
Press the
Edit List
button of the
Setup
menu (
Figure 43
) to select and edit a pick list displayed by a
"Choose" button on the
Equipment Information Editor
(see Section 4.4.1, page 41), or other user
interface menu provided by vPad-IV. By means of the vPad-IV text editor, items may be added or deleted
from any of the following pick lists:
• Device manufacturers
• Device models (model number and/or name)
• Device descriptions (IV pump; PCA pump; enteral feeding pump; etc.)
• Facilities (e.g. institutions, hospitals, clinics)
• Facility locations (e.g. departments, wards, room numbers)
• Technicians (e.g. names, initials, employee numbers)
• Work order types (per CMMS, e.g. PM; CM; IE; etc.)
• Labor types (also per CMMS, e.g. regular time; overtime; etc.)
• Completion codes (also per CMMS: e.g. PMP (PM pass); etc.)
