config lldp ports admin_status
Purpose
Used to configure per-port transmit and receive modes.
Syntax
config lldp ports [<portlist>|all] admin_status [tx_only | rx_only |
tx_and_rx | disable]
Description
These options enable the user to control which ports participate in
LLDP traffic and whether the participating ports allow LLDP traffic in
only one direction or in both directions.
Parameters
<portlist>-
Use this parameter to define ports to be configured.
all
– Use this parameter to set all ports in the system.
admin_status
–
tx_only
: Configure the specified port(s) to transmit
LLDP packets, but block inbound LLDP packets from neighbor
devices;
rx_only
: Configure the specified port(s) to receive LLDP
packets from neighbors, but block outbound packets to neighbors;
tx_and_rx
: Configure the specified port(s) to both transmit and receive
LLDP packets;
disable
: Disable LLDP packet transmit and receive on
the specified port(s). The default per port state is
tx_and_rx
.
Restrictions Only
administrator-level
and operator-level users can issue this
command.
Example usage:
To configure ports 1 to 5 to transmit and receive:
DGS-3627:5#config lldp ports 1:1-1:5 admin_status tx_and_rx
Command: config lldp ports 1:1-1:5 admin_status tx_and_rx

config lldp ports mgt_addr
Purpose
Used to enable or disable port(s) specified for advertising indicated
management address instance.
Syntax
config lldp ports [<portlist>|all] mgt_addr [ipv4 <ipaddr> | ipv6
<ipv6addr>] [enable | disable]
Description
This command specifies whether the system’s IP address needs to be
advertised from the specified port. For layer 3 devices, each managed
address can be individually specified. The management addresses
that are added in the list will be advertised in the LLDP from the
specified interface associated with each management address. The
interface for that management address will be also advertised in the if-
index form
