Reached the end of the adju s tment range
- Thi s me ss age appear s on the s creen of the connected device. When focu s ing with Brow s er Remote, thi s me ss age will
appear when a focu s adju s tment would pu s h the focu s out of the len s ’ s available range.

- The file s y s tem i s corrupted or you attempted to tran s fer clip s not recorded with thi s camcorder. Delete tho s e clip s

Unable to complete WP S . Try the operation again.
- More than 2 minute s pa ss ed between activating WP S on the acce ss point and s electing [OK] on the camcorder. S tart
over the WP S procedure from the beginning.
- The WP S button wa s not held down long enough. Refer to the in s truction manual of your wirele ss router. When u s ing
WP S to ma k e a wirele ss connection, k eep the WP S button held down until the wirele ss router’ s WP S function i s
activated.
- The acce ss point’ s encryption method i s s et to [WEP]. Wi-Fi Protected S etup (WP S ) cannot connect to acce ss point s
s et to thi s encryption method. Change the acce ss point’ s encryption method or u s e another connection method

Unable to connect
- Could not connect to the acce ss point or networ k device s elected.
- Cordle ss phone s , microwave oven s , refrigerator s and other appliance s may interfere with the wirele ss s ignal. Try u s ing
the camcorder in a location farther away from s uch appliance s .

Unable to obtain an IP addre ss
- If you are not u s ing a DHCP s erver, connect u s ing the [Manual] option and enter the IP addre ss u s ing the [Manual]
option (

- Turn on the DHCP s erver. If it i s already on, ma k e s ure it i s functioning properly.
- Ma k e s ure the addre ss range for the DHCP s erver i s s ufficient.
- If you are not u s ing a DN S s erver, s et the DN S addre ss to one other than [0.0.0.0].
- S et the DN S s erver’ s IP addre ss in the camcorder.
- Turn on the DN S s erver. If it i s already on, ma k e s ure it i s functioning properly.
- Ma k e s ure that the DN S s erver’ s IP addre ss and the name for that addre ss are correctly configured.
- If you are u s ing a wirele ss gateway router, ma k e s ure all of the device s in the networ k , including the camcorder, are
configured with the correct gateway addre ss .
Wi-Fi connection terminated
- An error occurred on the acce ss point or connected device. Chec k the networ k or connected device and try
connecting again.
- The Wi-Fi s ignal became too wea k and the wirele ss connection wa s lo s t. Wait a moment or turn off other device s in
the area that may be interfering with the Wi-Fi s ignal and then try connecting again.
Wi-Fi error. Incorrect authentication method.
- Ma k e s ure the camcorder and acce ss point are u s ing the s ame authentication/encryption method and encryption k ey.
Wi-Fi error. Incorrect encryption key.
- When the authentication mode wa s s et to [WPA-P S K], [WPA2-P S K] or [ S hared Key], or the encryption method wa s s et
to [WEP], the encryption k ey (WEP k ey or AE S /TKIP pa ss word) entered or it s length (number of character s ) i s
incorrect.

ss word s vary depending on the encryption method:
- AE S / TKIP encryption: 8 to 63 A S CII character s or 64 hexadecimal character s .
- 64-bit WEP encryption: 5 A S CII character s or 10 hexadecimal character s .
- 128-bit WEP encryption: 13 A S CII character s or 26 hexadecimal character s .
