S aving and Loading Camcorder S etting s
After you adjust settings in the various menus, you can save those settings in the camcorder or on an SD card.
Only SD card B can be used to save and load camcorder settings files. You can load those settings at a later
date or on another XF705 camcorder so that you can use that camcorder in the same way.
S aving Camcorder S etting s
1 To s ave the camcorder’ s s etting s on an S D card, in s ert a card into the camcorder’ s S D card s lot B.
2 S elect [ S ave].

3 S elect [To Camera] or [To S D Card B] and then pre ss S ET.
4 S elect [OK] and pre ss S ET.
• The camcorder’s menu settings will be saved to the selected destination. If menu settings were previously
saved, the old file will be overwritten by the current menu settings.
5 When the confirmation me ss age appear s , pre ss S ET.
Loading Camcorder S etting s
1 To load menu s etting s from a card, in s ert the card with the de s ired camcorder s etting s file into the
camcorder’ s S D card s lot B.
2 S elect [Load].

3 S elect [From Camera] or [From S D Card B] and then pre ss S ET.
4 S elect [OK] and pre ss S ET.
• The camcorder’s menu settings will be replaced by the settings saved on the selected source. Then, the
screen will turn black momentarily and the camcorder will restart.
NOTES
• The following menu settings and any passwords that were set by the user are not saved with this operation.
