engines are wired with compon ents supplied by
both Briggs & Stratton and the OEM. Contact the
OEM for wiring diagrams an d service
information.
Symptom: Engine starts, dies, and will not
stay running
• Disconnect BLUE or BLACK wire at ([

]
Fig. 52) an d start engine.
If the engine starts and dies:
• Replace the module (

) and retest.
If the engine starts and runs:
• Reconnect the wire at (
A
).
If the engine d ies:
• Check continuity in the wire between (
A
)
and (
B
).
If there is no continuity:
• Replace the wire.
If the wire is go od:
• Replace the float sensor in the cylinder
