SpO2 Status Messages

Below is a list of system status alarm messages which may be displayed in the SPO2 parameter
window during monitoring.

Message

State

Check probe

Occurs when a probe separates from an animal. Check out the
Probe.

Pulse search

Detection by the monitor of a repeatable pulse has ceased. Check
the animal and the probe site.

Poor signal

The SpO2 signal is too low. No SPO2 data is displayed. This can
be due to a low veterinary animal pulse, animal motion, or some
other interference. Check the animal and the probe.

Lost signal

SpO2 data continues to be displayed, but the quality of the signal
is questionable. Check the animal and the probe.

Artifact

It indicates that something happened to the pulses; determine if
the artifact to be abnormal and irregular

Cleaning

⚫

Do not autoclave, pressure sterilizes, or gas sterilizes.
