12.1
Introduction
The chapter describes detailed configurations and data displayed on the CMS once the
TMS60 telemetry monitoring system is connected to the CMS.
The TMS60 telemetry monitoring system can be connected to the CMS whose version is
earlier than 03.00 and to the CMS whose version is 03.00 or above. But the Resp and NIBP
functionalities for the TMS60 telemetry monitoring system are only supported by the
CMS whose version is 03.00 or above.

Monitoring at the CMS (Version Earlier than 03.00)
Once the TMS60 telemetry monitoring system is connected to the CMS whose version is
earlier than 03.00, you can view physiological alarms for ECG and SpO
2
parameters,
change settings in the
ECG
tab and
SpO
2
tab of the
Parameter Setup
menu.
12.2.1
Physiological Alarms
At the CMS, you can view and change the physiological alarm limits and alarm levels in
the
Alarm Setup
menu. The
Alarm Setup
menu contains three tabs:

Parameter Alarm Settings
: view and change the parameter alarm limits, alarm
levels and alarm responses.
■
Arrhythmia Alarms
: view and change the arrhythmia alarms levels, and alarm
responses.
■
Arrh. Threshold Setup
: view and change the arrhythmia threshold settings for
some arrhythmia alarms.

Be aware that the devices in your care area may each have different
alarm settings to suit different patients. Always check that the alarm set-
tings are appropriate for your patient before you start monitoring.

A potential hazard can exist if different alarm presets are used for the
same or similar equipment in any single area, such as an intensive care
unit or cardiac operating room.
•
Make sure that the alarm limits settings are appropriate for your patient
before monitoring.
