7.2 JCM VEGA NOTE ACCEPTOR MAINTANANCE
In the event of a note jam within the Vega note acceptor or recycler then follow the instructions
given in the following section.
Before starting work on the VEGA, disconnect the power to the machine and open belly glass
door.
Vega Note acceptor removal
To remove the VEGA note acceptor it will be necessary to remove the four M4 fasteners that fix
the acceptor base to the cabinet metalwork.
Firstly open the lock shown in the first image below and then remove the note stacker from the
note acceptor retaining bracket as shown in the second image below.
The four M4 fasteners can now be removed using a 7mm spanner.
VEGA Note Acceptor Jam Main Body
In the event of a note jam within the VEGA note acceptors main body press in the two white
catches indicated at the front of the VEGA acceptor as shown in the first image below and lift
the body up as shown in the second image below to access and remove a jammed note.
