Audio Test
On selection of the ‘audio’ button the user can test the left and right channels separately then
both channels together by pressing the appropriate on screen button.
Video test
The ‘Video Test’ consists of six screens
1. Monitor alignment screen
2. White (Pixel fault detection screen)
3. Black (Pixel fault detection screen)
4. Red (Pixel fault detection screen)
5. Green (Pixel fault detection screen)
6. Blue (Pixel fault detection screen)
The monitor alignment screen shows a white cross and box on a black background. If the edges
of the box are not clearly visible at each of the screen edges and/or don’t have equal borders,
press the ‘Source Button’ located on
the rear of the LCD display.
To check for failed pixels, continue to touch the screen and step through each of the 5 coloured
screens. Failed pixels should be easy to identify against the background colour.
If failed pixels are detected and they interfere with the game then the LCD monitor should be
replaced.
Test will automatically exit to the ‘Service’ menu after the blue pixel fault detection screen has
been displayed.
Set Clock
Press the ‘Set Clock’ Button to enter the test. The screen shown below
displays the Hours
minutes and seconds including the day month and year.
The time and date can be adjusted by touching the screens left and right arrows to decrease
and increase the values.
