7.1.1 NV11 Note acceptor removal
To remove the NV11 note acceptor to gain access to the note float unit it will be necessary to
remove the four M4 fasteners from under the note acceptor mounting bracket.
Once the fasteners are removed disconnect the note acceptor and lift the acceptor upwards and
place to one side.
7.1.2 NV11 Note Float jam removal.
In the event of a note jam within the rear of the note float unit, remove the note acceptor from
the machine as described in section 7.1.1. Then squeeze together the two red catches and
open the rear door as shown in the first image. Remove the jammed notes if possible taking
care not to damage the note transport tape shown in the second image below.
7.1.3 Manual Note Removal
If the notes have to be manually removed due to a faulty note acceptor, locate and remove the
manual de-float tool shown in the first image below and remove it from its holder then insert it in
the location indicated in the second image below.
The tape has to be wound by the de-float tool anti-clockwise taking care not to over-wind the
tape. The notes will be unloaded to the bottom of the note float unit and into the main body of
the acceptor if fitted.
