Menu operation
The running state updates regularly while the step transient is running, which including already
executed repeat times, test time and remaining time.
Sweep Mode
The step transient is useful for checking the efficiency of a power supply can capturing the
voltage, current and power at the maximum power operating point. By changing either using
a series of steps of similar size (step ladder). In this mode, the steps are applied till the end
value is reached after the specified number of counts. If Sweep mode is
Enabled
, the meas-
urements will be displayed at the end of the sweep.

5.9.2 Special Func
This series power source support the following special test function:

5.9.2.1 Test Mode
The Test Mode compares measurement values against a user defined set of measurement
limits and shows a PASS or FAIL result in one or more measurements are out of range. This
type of limit testing is useful for production test applications.
5.9.2.2 LV Mode
Users can enable LV mode to reduce the output voltage ripple at low voltage range.
The low voltage range is no more than 10% rated voltage. Higher than this value cannot be set
once LV mode is activated.
5.9.2.3 Short Mode
Users can enable or disable the short circuit protection according to the application. The default
setting is ON. A short alarm will be triggered when the output current goes beyond 2A and output
voltage is below user defined ActiveV. Set Short mode to OFF when testing a breaker or cables.

Warning!
The unit will save the Short Mode setting after turned off, please turn on the Short Mode
setting to prevent the possible damage to the device for normal use.
