1. INSPECTION BEFORE START OF DAY’S
WORK
Inspection before the start of the day's work is very important for the
safe and trouble-free operation of the machine. Before starting its
operation, inspect the machine as described in “1. Inspection before
start of day’s work” in Part VI.
2. PREPARING FOR OPERATION
Prepare the machine for operation as described below.
1 Turn up the multiple
opening limit setting
lever to open the ram
to the maximum
opening limit.
2 Pull forward the rising
speed change
position setting lever
to prevent the ram
from unexpectedly
closing.
3 Loosen the
handwheel lock knob,
and turn the multiple
closing limit setting
handwheel fully
counterclockwise.
