WELD TECH will warrant the product for the warranty period under the following
conditions below. Product repair will be at the option of AMADA WELD TECH.

Countries with a service office of AMADA WELD TECH’s overseas subsidiaries
AMADA WELD TECH will repair the product at AMADA WELD TECH’s overseas
subsidiaries without shipping charges or at customers’ location without traveling
costs for serviceman to and from the customers’ location. However, for repair at
AMADA WELD TECH, Japan, the customer is required to pay for one-way shipping
and insurance.

Repair at customers’ location by a serviceman of AMADA WELD TECH or
AMADA WELD TECH’s overseas subsidiaries
AMADA WELD TECH will repair or replace, at its option, defective parts and/or
units free of charge. There will be charge for the travel related costs such as
round-trip air tickets, local transportation costs, compensation for inbound and
outbound traveling time, and hotel. Some time to prepare is required.

Repair at AMADA WELD TECH, Japan
AMADA WELD TECH will repair or replace, at its option, defective parts and/or
units free of charge except for inbound and outbound shipping costs. AMADA
WELD TECH will send it to the customer’s designated location free of charge only
if it is in Japan. The customer is required to pay for any overseas shipping.
In case of repair at AMADA WELD TECH’s overseas subsidiaries, return the
product claimed defective to the subsidiary, transportation charges prepaid.
AMADA WELD TECH will send the product, which is repaired free of charge, to a
designated location at customer’s expense.
4. The warranty does not cover the followings:
•
Defect or damage due to improper use, incorrect repair or modification by customer.
•
Defect or damage due to improper handling such as dropping during transportation by
customer.
• Defect or damage caused by the external causes such as natural disasters including
earthquake, fire, salt water, storm, and lightning; rebellions including war and terrorism;
or abnormal voltage, etc.
•
Defect or damage caused by the product of other company or any surrounding
equipment.
• Damage due to crack, discoloration and dirt caused while in use and due to improper
storing.
• Exchange of consumable items.
5. Scope of Warranty
The product is covered by warranty until it is restored to the condition before damaged.
Any secondary damage such as equipment damage, opportunity loss, or lost profit caused
by any defect of the product is not covered by warranty.
6. Out-of-Warranty Repair
If the performance of a product can be recovered and maintained by repair, AMADA WELD
TECH will provide paid repair at customer’s request basis.
AMADA WELD TECH will warrant parts and/or units replaced for one (1) month from the
date of replacement or repair, except for consumable items.
For oscillation modules, AMADA WELD TECH will warrant them for six (6) months from the
date of replacement or repair.
