i. Select the interface to be tracked for the VRRP group from the
Track on
Interface
drop-down list.
ii. Enable or disable the
Track on Interface Mode
by selecting
Enable/Disable
radio button.
•
Enabling the track on interface mode enables the interface to be tracked
for the VRRP group.
The priority of the group is lowered when the
tracked interface state changes to down.
•
Disabling the track on interface mode removes tracking of the interface.
iii. Set the authentication sting for the VRRP in the
Group Authentication
String
field. OmniAccess 5740 USG supports null authentication and plain-
text authentication. Maximum of 8 characters are allowed in the
authentication string.
iv. Click
OK
to configure the track interface and authentication string for the
VRRP or click
Cancel
to cancel the operation.
Step 9:
Once you have entered the required configuration values, click
Apply
to
create a new VRRP Group or click
Cancel
to cancel the operation.
