4.7.8 I/O Diagnostics
The I/O Diagnostics screen shows a log of all IO state
changes from any assignable input or output. This
can aid in verifying the correct functionality for IO
configuration.
The refresh
button will
update the
screen with the
most recent IO
changes.
The save button
will generate a
log file that can
be viewed on a
PC. This file can
be downloaded
when viewing
from a PC or
saved to a USB
drive when using
the controller
touch screen. This
saved CSV file
contains much
more detailed
information
(timing, IO
settings, etc)
than can be displayed on the controller screen.
4.7.9 Network Diagnostics
Network Diagnostics can be useful in
troubleshooting Ethernet communication issues
Ethernet:
Shows
if the Ethernet
port is physically
connected and
if the hardware is
operational.
Test Connection:
Provides a
way to check
the ethernet
connection to
other devices on
the same network.
Capture:
Captures
and saves the
ethernet traffic for
evaluation

Logs information
describing usage
of controller and
tools that have
been used with
that controller.

Log displays changes made to tool or controller.
4.7.6.2 Information Log
Log displays all information entries.
4.7.6.3 Error Log
Log displays ONLY Error Entries.
4.7.6.4 All
Displays all Changes, Information, and Error entries.
